Oh life!!
It is almost Christmas and we are winding down our year and school semester.
What a year! We added our first wonderful family addition this year! On January 19th of this year Jonah Charles joined our family. What a crazy ride it has been since he arrived, he is a little ball of energy and always has been. He rolled over for the first time when he was 2 weeks old. (prediction maybe?)
Now he is almost a year old and very close to walking.
He cruises everywhere from the table to the couch, to the floor and into the kitchen faster than I have ever seen!
His favorite activities include;
opening the cabinets, pulling things out and then closing the cabinets over and over again,
shaking the blinds!

Throwing all my pillows off the couch!
Building block towers and then knocking them over.

Jumping on daddy
giving kisses (open mouthed! so cute)
High Fives
"reading" books
"running" (crawling) away from mommy when trying to change clothes
Playing with Mommy and Daddy!

What a fun boy we have, and he has changed so much in one year, he grows so quickly right before my eyes. WE LOVE HIM!
I can't wait for year 2!

Freedom isn't free...

Tomorrow is September 11th, ten years after the attacks. TEN YEARS! I can't believe it, not to be like every other American but it seems like yesterday. Even though I was young, it is such a vivid day. As an adult and a mother, I see the impact it had on peoples lives. Losing loved ones, I can't even imagine what some went through, not even knowing where family and friends were. For those brave police and firemen in New York, and for the soldiers still fighting 10 years after the fact. What heroes they all are! Giving their lives for us. Makes me thing how blessed I am to have such a wonderful family, wonderful life.

For all those serving for our country and/or helped that day....Thank you and God bless you.
For all those who lost friends family etc, that day, my heart and prayers go out to you!

Weekend...

Oh the weekend! Seems like just another day for us! We are both working opposite shifts this weekend and opposite Jonah shifts! We all three have colds! At the same time! That makes the weekend not so fun. Trying to push through! Jonah is such a good sport when he is sick, you can barely even tell! He still giggles and plays! He now has a fake "laugh" he does when every someone else laughs!  He is so funny!

Our active life!

Jonah is almost 8 months old now, and is crawling, rolling, scooting, and now standing! He pulls himself to a standing postition on everything he can get his hands on! If I put him down on one end of the room in only a few seconds he is to the other end! He is loves to talk, play and learn about new things!
He also imitates when some one says "Hi".
